In India all the states registered vehicle details are entered in a national registry. Since Data from different state registers flow to national registry ,its easy for us to query the vehicle details. The Vehicle No. and last 5 digits of Chassis No. are required to search a vehicle details.

The Motor Vehicles Act provides for the registration of all motor vehicles in the country. Each motor vehicle is assigned with a unique Registration Number. Once the vehicle is registered, a certificate is issued to the owner of the vehicle.
